FDA Plans Meetings on Antimicrobial Use in Livestock

ral Register Notice: FDA plans to hold five meetings to provide an opportunity for public dialog and feedback on challenges faced by the animal agriculture industry and practicing veterinarians as FDA implements its initiative for the judicious use of medically important antimicrobials in medicated feed or drinking water of food-producing animals. Particular emphasis will be placed on challenges faced by animal producers in areas that may lack access to adequate veterinary services. The meetings will be held 4/9 in Bowling Green, KY, 4/23 in Olympia, WA, 5/8 in Fort Collins, CO, 5/21 in Pierre, SD, and 6/4 in College Station, TX. To view this notice, click here.
