Federal Register Notice FDA is holding a public meeting 7/31 to discuss the current status of the private sector's efforts to provide useful written prescription drug information to consumers. FDA is soliciting comments to discuss what steps can be taken to improve the usefulness of such written prescription drug information in order to meet the year 2006 goal of Public Law 104-180 that useful written information be distributed to 95 % of individuals receiving new prescriptions. The meeting will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the National Transportation Safety Board Boardroom and Conference Center, 429 L'Enfant Plaza, SW., Washington, DC.
