Federal Register Notice: FDA is seeking public comments on the proposed information collection provisions for the importer's entry notice. Comments should be submitted by 7/22/03. 21 U.S.C. 381 charges FDA with responsibility for ensuring that foreign-origin FDA-regulated foods, drugs, cosmetics, medical devices, and radiological health products offered for import into the U.S. meet the same requirements of the FDCA as do domestic products and preventing shipments from entering the country if they are not in compliance.
